Journey to the Edge

Did you ever hear about a place and were so fascinated by it that you thought it would be an awesome place to visit? When I learned about Tierra del Fuego in a Coastal Geomorphology class in college, I was fascinated by it and never thought I would actually have a chance to travel there someday. Tierra del Fuego is located at the very southern tip of South America, in an area sometimes called "The Edge of the Earth." It is near a city called Ushuaia, which bills itself as the "End of the world; Beginning of Everything."  We will be taking a South American cruise on a journey to "The Edge of the Earth".  Before we begin the cruise, we will travel to Rio de Janeiro and then spend a day in Buenos Aires on our own, before we board the cruise ship. You are invited to join the adventure  as we view the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio, walk in the footsteps of Evita Peron in Argentina, tango with the locals in Montevideo, enjoy a Welsh tea in Puerto Madr
